Take the Next Step

In my journey with the Lord this week, He revealed that He is highlighting the NEXT STEP , but often ONLY the NEXT STEP. I'm a planner and often want to know what lies ahead. If I had my way, I would have to see several miles in the distance before I took the first step!

This week He set me up with some things that required big faith on my part. In the process, I had specific things I was asking of Him, but He wasn't saying much except, "Trust Me".

So, I gulped and took the step of faith and His GRACE was so evident, and I felt such a shift in my spirit to RUN THE RACE OF RISK with Him.

As we step forward to run the race of risk with Him, we will step into a momentum that we would not know or experience if we had not stepped forward. It reminds me of the scene from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where Indiana had to step out on an invisible bridge. He couldn't see the bridge that spread across a very deep canyon requiring a huge leap of faith to take the first step. As he stepped out, and only as he stepped out, the bridge miraculously appeared beneath him.

Like Indiana, God is calling for us to step forward and take those blind steps to possess the land He has for us. He is raising up a generation of "Caleb's" who look at the land, giants and all, and boldly say, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it." (Num. 13:30)

It is the season of NEW BEGINNINGS, and God is calling many to step out into the unknown to do the NEW THINGS He is calling us to do, He will be there to meet us with ABUNDANT GRACE, PROVISION, and FAVOR.
