New Alignments for New Assignments
The wind of God is blowing in the earth bringing great shift, change, and transition. In order for shift to take place, many times NEW ALIGNMENTS will come. When you are wanting to shift gears in a car, the gears must come into proper alignment for the shift to take place, and then forward movement comes as a result.
We are, and will continue to be, in a season of great alignment. God is shining His light on areas that are out of alignment always with the redemptive purpose of bringing things back into alignment. It is His desire that we are positioned to move and shift with the great transition, stepping into the new assignments He has prepared for us.
MINDSET ALIGNMENTS
There are different types of alignments taking place as we move forward with the Spirit. One type of alignment has to do with our mindsets or thinking patterns. Our negative mindsets bring us out of alignment quicker than anything else. Just as the children of Israel were not able to enter into their Promised Land because of unbelief, we will not be able to move forward into these new assignments with mindsets that are out of alignment with the move of His Spirit.
"Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace." Rom. 8:5-6
God is calling our thinking into a higher alignment with His Spirit in this hour. He is exposing patterns and ways of thinking that do not line up with His Kingdom. Negative emotions, stress, and anxiety are indicators that we are in need of an upgrade and mindset adjustment. Many will receive identity upgrades for the new assignments. The Father is speaking and releasing true identity to His sons and daughters so that hearts are prepared to embrace the new.
It is God's delight to speak to us and reveal the secrets and mysteries of His Kingdom. Jer. 33:3, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Stewarding the revelation He brings will always cause a mindset shift. When we fail to steward the revelation by resisting change to our way of thinking, we come out of alignment in that area. God is incredibly patient with us, lavishing His grace on us to give us opportunities to encounter truth. He is giving us this season for "fine-tuning" our alignments with His truth.
RELATIONAL ALIGNMENTS
Another type of alignment taking place has to do with relationships. As the Body of Christ, we are created to need one another. For the Church to move forward into this new era, new alignments must take place. I have often envisioned a chess board and God masterfully moving the chess pieces with the Divine purpose of Kingdom advancement.
We are in a time of strategic alignments and relationships being formed with new assignments for the new era. It is not that the old relationships were necessarily bad, but God has been preparing the "net" for a new "work" creating a NETWORK. Out of the NETWORK new assignments are coming forth that will result in increased fruitfulness and harvest for the Kingdom.
It is important to keep an open mind about the people that come across your path, but also very important to be prayerful and seeking God's confirmation. Just as new Kingdom alignments have the ability to bring fruitfulness and advancement, incorrect alignments may cause delay or detours away from the intended advancement.
The new Kingdom alignments God has for us will cause a CROSS POLLINATION of streams, ministries, and giftings. One of the definitions of cross pollination is "when something grows or is stimulated by the introduction of a different element." (Your Dictionary) God is causing growth and stimulation in the Body of Christ to occur as the result of the cross pollinating of different streams, ministries, and giftings.
The use of technology and media will bring a great increase to the networking of these different ministries causing an accelerated synergy and growth. Unity and Humility will be necessary KEYS to the success of these alliances.
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others." Phil. 2:3-4
God may call us to lay aside our own personal goals and agendas for the greater good of these new alliances being formed. Matt. 10:39 - Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
What an exciting season we are in! I pray that God will increase our sensitivity to His Spirit and increase His grace that we need to make the necessary adjustments an upgrades in our alignments. May we be a people in sync with Heaven's shift, and may our hearts burn with a passion to align fully with all He is saying and doing in this hour. May we receive the NEW ALIGNMENTS for the NEW ASSIGNMENTS!
