A New Age of Enlightenment
A new Age of Enlightenment is upon us. Wikipedia defines the Age of Enlightenment as an "intellectual and philosophical movement that dominated the world of ideas in Europe during the 17th to 19th century."
But this new Age of Enlightenment will be something entirely different. This new age will be an Ephesians 1:18 Age of Enlightenment. It will be an age born out of ENLIGHTENED HEARTS that have stepped across the chasm of orphan thinking into their full birthright as the blood bought sons and daughters of God.
When Paul prayed for the Ephesian church in Ephesian 1, he prayed that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened. Paul had a burning desire that they would have a full revelation encounter with the hope to which they had been called. He also knew that revelation was an absolute necessity to advance further into intimacy and understanding of this their inheritance.
We stand at another pivotal juncture today as Holy Spirit is intent on advancing the Bride of Christ into greater and greater maturity through greater revelation. We must understand then that intimacy with Him is always the pathway into greater revelation. Fruit that remains is always found in His abiding Presence.
Waves of revelation are coming upon the sons and daughters of God who have a heart to receive. In the coming days God is going to be lifting the veil on things that have been hidden, or set aside, for this time in history. This will effect not only the Church, but every mountain of society will be touched as God pours out His Spirit of wisdom and revelation. This tide of His Spirit will carry with it a powerful drawing to know the King and His Kingdom more.
"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better." (Ephesians 1:17)
This New Age of Enlightenment will cause hearts to come alive as the Spirit of Revelation reveals who He truly is. This wave of revelation will be EXPANSIVE and reveal the incredible ongoing wisdom of our amazing Father. It will be as if our spiritual sight moves from one dimensional to 3 dimensional as God lifts the veil on truth. He is bringing HIGH DEFINITION and SURROUND SOUND in a great revealing of truth from Heaven as His Bride steps more fully into this joy of discovery with Him.
Just as He has done throughout history, God is again opening up new territory in the Spirit realm and inviting His sons and daughters to enter into all that He has prepared.
Paul again expresses his heart in Ephesians 3:9-10, "My passion is to enlighten every person to this divine mystery. It was hidden for ages past until now, and kept a secret in the heart of God, the Creator of all. The purpose of this was to unveil before every throne and rank of angelic order in the heavenly realm God's full and diverse wisdom revealed through the church." (TPT)
Our God seems to delight in hiding and unveiling things for us, His Church to discover. The greatest mystery of all time was revealed in His gift of Christ His Son, to us. Through His death and resurrection we have been given incredible grace and privilege.
Ephesians 3:11 states it like this, "This perfectly wise plan was destined from eternal ages and fulfilled completely in our Lord Jesus Christ, so that now we have boldness through him, and free access as kings before the Father because of our complete confidence in Christ's faithfulness." (TPT)
As we step further into this New Age of Enlightenment, there will be greater revelation about our place as "kings" as the Church steps deeper into the reality that we are seated with Him in Heavenly places. Jesus has been given ALL AUTHORITY in Heaven and on earth and we the royal sons and daughters of God are given the task to execute His rule here on earth as it is in Heaven as we reign with Him.
"We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!" - Ephesians 2:10
